ai_peter, sometimes called 'Ai Family Guy' or simply 'Peter' by fans, is a 24/7 AI-generated parody stream based on Family Guy, created by pauhull.
The stream features a lineup of improvised conversations between digitally-generated versions of characters from the animated series.
Ai Peter is seen as a companion to AI Sponge. Ai_peter has managed to remain online since its launch, avoiding any major copyright issues, a notable achievement considering the fate of similar streams. When tuning into the stream, usually unscripted scenes across familiar locations from the show, such as the Griffin family’s home and the Drunken Clam play out. True to the spirit of Family Guy, the topics prompted by users often veer into crude humor and absurd scenarios.
Since its debut on June 9, 2023, ai_peter has streamed primarily through YouTube and its own dedicated website, which also includes a searchable archive of past clips.
It was previously hosted on Twitch but has since transitioned away from that platform due to concerns of takedowns from a controversial incident from 2023 where before topic moderation existed, a user prompted Peter Griffin to provide details on how to build a bomb. Since then, moderation is strict in preventing real world threats, and bomb instruction topics usually end up failing or providing incorrect ingredients per changes to the AI.
