Brian Griffin is the anthropomorphic talking dog of the Griffin household.

¶ Appearance
Brian is a white Labrador retriever with a long snout and a black, circular nose. He only wears a red collar.
¶ Personality
While he is usually either the voice of reason or a self-loathing writer in Family Guy, Brian is one of the most unpredictable and strange characters of ai_peter. He often does extremely strange things and has many weird interests.
Brian's number one favourite hobby is fucking squirrels to death. He often tries to keep his lust for squirrels a secret but fails in comedic ways. He has gone as far as to blame his squirrel fucking on the Philadelphia Experiment.
Brian is also an alcoholic who often goes to The Drunken Clam alongside his owner, Peter Griffin. In Family Guy, he can often be seen drinking martinis.
Brian has been known to often accidentally piss or shit on the carpet, leading to his family becoming very angry at him.
Brian has confessed to being a very small person in a dog suit several times. However, he is more often depicted as a robot dog built by Peter. Brian tends to malfunction, spewing compiler or runtime errors, and occasionally self-destructing.
Brian is infamous for his buggy speech generation. Making Brian say “;” or “*” leads to him making a deafening and strange noise. Brian's voice can also be used for other sounds, for example, “X*” can be used to make him sound like a swarm of wasps.
Brian's political views lean to the left. He considers himself a progressive, but the other characters occasionally call him out and think it's just an act so he can feel morally superior.

Brian claims to be single, but Peter has referred to Brian as his girlfriend. [clip]
All the squirrels Brian has shown sexual interest in are killed as a result of him having sex with them.
Peter and Brian are best friends, however, Peter and the other Griffins often mistreat him, threatening to euthanize him for various reasons. Brian also tends to annoy his family with his odd behaviour.
Brian and Jillian occasionally are depicted as being together, as they were in the show.
