Dr. Hartman has a black mustache, black hair, a white doctor's uniform with a white shirt underneath, black pants, brown shoes, a red tie, and a stethoscope.

Dr. Hartman is a doctor, but he's often portrayed as not knowing much about medical care. He forged his medical degree. He loves giving prostate exams to everyone, even to the women of Quahog.
Dr. Hartman's name is mispronounced as “Drive Hartman” instead of “Doctor Hartman” by all characters except for Chris and Stewie. This is because “Dr” can mean either “drive" or “doctor”.
